SCRANTON, November 30, 2018 – State Sen. John Blake (D- Lackawanna/Luzerne/Monroe) and state Representative-Elect Kyle Mullins (D-Lackawanna) today announced that they will co-host an Affordable Care Act (ACA) enrollment event on Tuesday at the Throop Civic Center.
Enrollment experts from the PA Department of Insurance will be available to answer any questions and guide users through the process of enrolling in the individual insurance marketplace or Medicare. The consultations are free of charge and no appointments are necessary.
The ACA enrollment event will be held on Tuesday, December 4 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Throop Civic Center located at 500 Sanderson St. in Throop.
Anyone interested in pursuing enrollment must bring documentation to verify their annual income (W-2 or pay stub) and a driver’s license or other government-issued photo identification.
The event is part of a joint effort by Pennsylvania Senate and House Democrats to provide ACA enrollment opportunities for Pennsylvania residents during the open enrollment window.
